Primary

Our primary classes are fun and enjoyable place to be in .here the child starts learning about herself and her place in the world. Her relationship with the people around her, the environment that she gets and how she is interconnected with the world as a whole.

Strong focus is also put on academics in an exploratory and creative manner. Though we follow CBSE pattern the teaching is done in a unique way. Combining certain educational philosophies and pedagogies.

Pedagogy

Our pedagogy is a fine blend of time-proven educational philosophies. We use a fine mix of these pedagogies to bring out the best in every child.

Learning Outcomes

The pedagogies and educational philosophies mean nothing if they are not connected to certain learning outcomes. The learning outcomes and skills that we try to inculcate in our students are as follows

Gardeners theory of Multiple Intelligence

Developed by Professor Howard Gardner of Harvard University, this theory is a paradigm shift from how we used to understand our students, their intelligence and how we taught. It states that every individual has different types of intelligence and best learns through the method that corresponds to his/her intelligence.

  • The essence of inquiry: Inquiry requires more than simply answering questions about getting a right answer. It espouses investigation, exploration, search, question, enhanced by involvement with a group of learners, each learning from the other in social interaction.
A child may best learn mathematics through reasoning, another child may learn best through use of music, a third child may best learn through dancing and a fourth child may best learn through resocialization i.e 3D modeling. We try to inculcate various dimensions of intelligence. While formulating our curriculum.

  • Inquiry-based learning: It is a form of active learning that starts by posing questions, problems or sceneries rather than simply presenting established facts or data. In this teaching methodology students work as explorers in this students create a question of their own, obtain evidence themselves, explain the evidence and justify it.
